About Us

Hello and Welcome. My husband Coleman and I (Marilyn) own this beautiful barn venue and would love to share it with you on your special occasion. I have always loved the quote “Man Plans, and God Laughs.” Despite our most careful planning, life is unpredictable. We might have a strategy and a plan, but a new journey might beckon us, or unforeseen turns can change our direction. This is exactly what happened with us. We set out to buy a house in the country for the kids to have more space and ended up buying a whole new journey for us. We are grateful for all the help we have had through the beginning from past owners, and friends who pushed us to take the steps to try, even when we were afraid.
