Our Story

Coleman and Marilyn Foley are the passionate duo behind Patchwork Barn Events, a beautifully restored 1888 gambrel barn venue nestled in the idyllic countryside just north of the toll road in Middlebury, Indiana. What began as a dream to buy a spacious country home for their growing family quickly evolved into something far more meaningful—when they stumbled upon this historic barn, they found a whole new path: creating a place where love stories blossom and memories are made.

About the Team

Marilyn Foley – The visionary force behind the venue’s operations, Marilyn is the venue  office manager and decorator who ensures every detail aligns with a couple’s dreams. Based in Middlebury and with a background in hospitality, she’s guided the transformation of the barn into a sought-after event destination.
 

Coleman Foley – Coleman contributes his unwavering support not only for his family but for Patchwork and all those who pass through—Coleman pours himself into the personal touches that make Patchwork Barn feel like family.
